It is true, you could buy or sell an aircraft on your own. Many brokers will insist that a long history of experience making deals may help you avoid unnecessary and unintended costs along the way.
This may be true, but it would be rather difficult to quantify this claim on an individual basis.
At Maverick, we believe the more directly observable value in using a broker is in time saved and convenience. On either side of the deal, there is just a tremendous amount of communications, paperwork, negotiation, coordination, and attention to detail that must align to make even a simple deal go smoothly.
While we employ our experience of the process to make it as efficient and fool-proof as possible, our primary objective is to insulate our clients from the chaos. We take your objectives and turn them into results with a minimum of impact to your schedule (and blood presssure).
This simple answer is, no.
This is because we do not compete on price, but on quality and value to you. You will always get the best possible price relative to the value we provide.
This may cause us to lose some business in the short term, but we are confident that focusing on quality and value is the right long term strategy for us AND our clients.
When you give us the opportunity to earn your business, we are confident you will agree!
Absolutely! This service is specifically aimed to help anyone considering an aircraft purchase.
It will get you on the right foot to ensure you are well-prepared to engage the right aircraft for your mission and budget.
It will also show sellers that you are prepared and in position to make a deal, which will dramatically increase your chances of getting your offer accepted.

* A non-refundable retainer of $1500 or 10% of the estimated commission, whichever is greater, is required to begin work. Retainer amounts are applied toward the final commission when your sale is completed.
We will never provide agency to both the buyer and the seller when engaged in a transaction involving the same aircraft.
We believe this is an important ethical standard, as doing so – even with the best intentions – at a minimum would undermine the implicit trust that we could fully represent the interests of either party.
It is important to realize that not all brokers make this committment, and it is not regulated by law in most states, so be sure to inquire about this no matter who you choose to represent you.
